The Harbour at the Pointe - Mooresville, NC
Established in 1994, The Harbour at the Pointe is a well-maintained, family-oriented waterfront neighborhood of 336 homes, most with private docks or deeded boat slips. Over 40 acres of common area plus the quiet streets inspire neighbors to walk on a regular basis. In addition, there is a magnificent “causeway” at the end of Bay Harbour Road where neighbors often gather to watch the sunset.
The Harbour is an active community with multiple events throughout the year for both children and adults, including monthly Bunco and Book Club gatherings, Food Truck Fridays, community tennis, pickleball and ping-pong tournaments, two mega Community Yard Sales per year, Spring Festival, and Holiday parties for young and older neighbors. In addition, the Harbour Seals are an undefeated swim team for the past years.
This community is one of the few neighborhoods in the Charlotte area with its own marina with boat ramp, swimming pool & clubhouse, tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball field, kayak storage, gated boat & RV storage, sidewalks and playground. It also enjoys some outstanding public and private schools which are conveniently located nearby.
This beautiful boating community is on Lake Norman, close to the Trump National Golf Club at The Pointe. The lake is over 33 miles long and 8 miles wide. It has 520 miles of shoreline and allows people of all ages to enjoy fishing, boating, water skiing, sailing, kayaking and many other fun family activities. The water temperatures range from 45 degrees in the winter to 90 degrees in the summer and make for some great swimming!
One of Mooresville's fire stations is located just down the road from our neighborhood. It has state-of-the-art equipment including EMS services.
Shopping is convenient with access to dining/shopping/health facilities in Mooresville, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville (check out Birkdale Village), Charlotte and Statesville.
Charlotte (CLT) airport is located a short 35-minute-drive (34 miles.) The Harbour is in Iredell County, which has lower property taxes than other nearby counties.
