Mailbox Guidelines

Mailboxes must be in compliance with the community standards per The Harbour CC&Rs, Section 8.10;
 
 “All mailboxes shall be constructed in accordance with one or more standard designs as approved by the Board of Directors.”
 
There are two options for mailboxes that have been approved by the HOA Board:
 
  1. Replacement of mailbox only is the “Classic Large Size Black Galvanized Steel Rural Mailbox with Red Flag” available at Lowe’s Home Improvement, Item # 39084, Model #C1600B00. Replacement of 3” gold numbers for the 6” diameter newspaper tube are available at ACE Hardware, Stock #MM-5N.
     
  2. Complete replacement of mailbox and post is the Corinthian Mailbox and Post with 6” diameter newspaper tube and 3” gold numbers with adhesive backing. This combination is available at Watson Steel and Iron Works, LLC, 3624 Gribble Road Matthews, NC 28105, ph:704-200-9540, website: http://www.charlotteironwork.com.

    Alternatively, the other place to purchase this is Carolina Mailboxes, who also provide install services for $85 additional.  Watson may actually be the manufacturer, but Carolina Mailboxes retails these.
